It was my first cut with sharped-edged-letters.
    Many edges appeared quite rounded.
Alternatively I did some cuts with the other popular cutting plugin inkscape-silhouette (special developed for Silhoouette Cameo).
While I have problems with positioning correctly the cutting path looks much better/more accurate.

Interesting... Was the blade offset set in inkcut?

No filter activated at the moment, so no overcut I guess..

As I wrote above, it was the first time I cut sharp edged letters, it's not my normal type of usage, it was just an experiment wether it's maybe possible to place thin vinyl on neoprene ;)
There are a lot more glitches regarding initializing, speed & pressure, inkcut cut will put the same values as listed in the dialog as told from my USB sniffer.
But the cameo needs other ones, I'll open a new issue for that on github in near future.
