Thanks for this great program that is making posible to move from windows to linux all my workshop. Im in the sign making bussines and 80% of the content of the signs i make is text, so we have to work and manipulate text most of the time and send it to cut. So far i have been able to send text 1: converting to path, 2: ungrouping the converted text, 3. welding the the ungrouped paths, and 4: combining all the what i will send to inkcut, i use select to send to inkcut from inkscape.
As results i need to have now 2 sets of each files, the ones i can edit, and the ones ready to cut. If at any time inkcut can work directly with the text as it is, this would be great.

Yes this is something I want to add as I have to do the same process. I'm not sure when ill get to it yet.
