Inkcut does not recognize the placement of a cutting object within e defined sheet, i.e. A5, A4 .
The cutting/drawing object is always placed top left.
Its hard to find well performing parameter for the "Grafic Size" to get perfect results.

Correct, currently it always removes the space around.
This change github.com/inkcut/inkcut/pull/270/files adds an option to keep the original position of the file for different layers if you're able to try it out. I think there was some issues yet when rotations were applied that caused me to not merge it in yet.
I would also be super happy to have this feature implemented: I use layers to change my pens (colours) and it is almost impossible for me to keep the original layers placement. The only solution I found is to have visible marks at the 4 corners of the document. If you have any other idea I can bypass this problem I am interested.
