I just added a settings dialog for this. You can now change the units there.

    Wow, works perfect!

    Thanks!

Only thing that I see is, that 50mm in inkscape are for example 49,77mm in inkcut - is there a rounding error with inch?

I believe this is due to Inkscapes's dpi change. I should add an option for dpi import scaling. Originally inkscape used 90 dpi but switched to 96 dpi. Other programs like adobe illustrator use 72 if I recall correctly.

That is an inkscape extension. I still need to add this option to Inkcut but I'm not sure if this is really the problem because the math doesn't work out. Ex 50mm * 90/96 would be 46.875mm so it's something else.

If I set Inkscape to 72 Dpi I still get wrong scale. What is the Inkcut resolution? Can You provide any advice to be abel to import from Inkscape with good scale?

    Best Regards,
    Maurin

Inkcut currently assumes the scaling is set to 90 dpi (used originally by Inkscape). So if using the new Inkscape default of 96 you'll have to scale by 96/90.

Maybe your lines have a thickness in Inkscape? Try changing them to hairline.
