Hi!
I'm using inkcut on Ubuntu 18.04. I had some issues making it work, so I pin down here my settings, just in case someone finds it useful.
First, I had to add my user to lp group on a console:
sudo usermod -a -G lp $user
Then, I added the cutter as a printer, choosing Raw Queue Driver
On Inkcut, this is what I had to put on my settings:
Device > Setup > Driver: Inkcut Generic Driver (there is a Silhouette portrait driver, but it doesn't work for me)
Device > Setup > Device > Output: set scale X and scale Y to 5.64
Device > Setup > Connection: Parallel Port with the port being mumblejumble (/deb/usb/lp0)
With this settings, it gets to work, though the speed is much, much less than I was used to.
I've used Inkcut quite a few times before, setting it up never had been so tricky and speed was much better, what could possibly be the reason?
